Locarno’s attractive cinema-theater shares its site between the Piazza Grande and the lakeside landing stages with the Kursaal Casino. It hosts the crowded official screenings of the Critics’ Week, as well as providing a perfect venue for silent films and the Swiss Cinema Rediscovered programs. Special screenings reserved for the press are also given in the Teatro Kursaal.
